Colonial Architecture
Its rooms exposes everything about its history during the Ten Years War. The architectural structure of this Memorial is characterized, in its main hall, showing the footprint of the original floor, while the courtyard of the house, showrooms and multi-purpose hall preserved colonial architecture. The historical center has a set of interesting places. One of great interest is the Marti Plaza, built in 1995 and consists of two elements of interest: the face of Jose Marti and a sundial. It has a star-shaped pedestal.
In one of its points lies the face of Jose Marti. His face, bronze was sculpted by the famous Cuban sculptor Rita Longa. The set is lit every year on May 19 at 2:30 pm, time and date in the fall of the Apostle in the battle of Dos Rios in the year 1895.
