The historical center has a set of interesting places. One of great interest is the Marti Plaza, built in 1995 and consists of two elements of interest: the face of Jose Marti and a sundial. It has a star-shaped pedestal.

In one of its points lies the face of Jose Marti. His face, bronze was sculpted by the famous Cuban sculptor Rita Longa.
