The exciting thing to study a foreign language is to initiate an enriching trip towards other cultures and other worlds, since to learn a new language it is to enter an adventure in which the language is the means that abre all the doors of the communication. The primary target of the education is to transmit basic values for the life in society: the respect, the fundamental rights and liberties, the tolerance, solidarity that form the future to citizen etc. To accede to other cultures and customs favors the respect to other countries and therefore to its inhabitants. Therefore, the education of the foreign languages (L.E.) carrying out works in linguistic services in the school is a key element in the construction of the identity of the student so that it forms like European citizen. My intention is here to show the importance that provokes the education of one second foreign language in Primary Education, not only for the knowledge of other cultures but for a major and better understanding of our own one. In addition the evolution to the society and of mass media in the last decades has given rise to that we live in a universal village, fomenting and motivating, in this way, the learning of the languages and fomenting the registry of professionals in the universities around the world. For that reason it turns out interesting to emphasize that, after to have introduced English L.E.
in the stages of Infantile and Primary Education, the fact is made necessary to continue advancing in that same line, extending it with the learning of a second language, in this case the French. One of the reasons that supports to this idea is that, so that the European citizens really can be it, a precocious learning of the languages is seen like something necessary from the first years of life, so that they can grow in the prospect of a multilingual society getting to be professional in text translation and other fields and that also they anticipate the permanent learning of the languages like integral part of a properly European style of life. In this same line, to add that, by means of the intensive learning of the French, the Spanish young people become familiar with the language and culture of another Member State of the European Community, multiplying their possibilities in supplies of work in translation and university and professional mobility and thus acquiring, the means necessary to be true citizens of the Europe the morning. It is not necessary to forget that the French classes are an important contribution to the narrowing of the bows of friendship and cooperation between Spain and France. All this causes that the Spanish students enjoy the same opportunities of formation that its European fellow citizens, being able to compete professionally, in the future, in equality of conditions.
