The Floor

I would suggest that such a plinth just tear off and replace them with new, modern plinths with cable channel (more on that later). D) looks under the OLD LINOLEUM. If there really a lot of construction dust, it is likely that the floor slab on which it is linoleum, was not primed. I suggest that primed the floor. If you remove the old paint, it is easily primed the floor.
If the old cover remains in place, we can only primed the edge – the place closest to the wall. Priming NEED FLOOR PRIMER, ROLLER AND SPECIAL trays into which you pour the primer and you will dip the roller. I advise not to forget about the tub – without it would be extremely uncomfortable. All this is now freely available in almost any hardware store and cost a little. Addresses hardware stores, shopping malls, you can look at the building portal "MasterOK!" Modern rollers represent a proper cloth roller (made of different material), which is worn on a metal shaft with plastic handle. So, in the opening of the plastic handle can be stick a long tube or a stick from an old mop. Then you get a bead on a long handle – it's convenient for priming of large surfaces.
For priming the edges of the floor, if you do not want to mess the walls, it is convenient to use brush. The primer will fit almost any example, primer-primer or the facade of deep penetration. Priming task here is simply to hold together fine particles of concrete, plaster, construction dust, etc. That is – to protect themselves from the spread and accumulation of dust under the linoleum. So I would not for priming the floor to buy an expensive coat. Fit and something simpler. D) measured. You can simply measure the area of a room or take measurements, which are listed in the data sheet for an apartment.
